Helpful Career Tools

Phoenix Career Services tools

University of Phoenix’s Phoenix Career Services portal helps students and alumni connect their education to careers. Starting next summer, the site will offer resources designed specifically to help members of the U.S. Armed Forces with their military-to-civilian career transition.

“We are absolutely committed to helping members of the military navigate the sometimes very difficult road to finding a career,” says Mike Mayor, senior vice president of the University’s Education to Careers initiative. “We believe that we have a best-in-class infrastructure to connect their background to their career of choice.”

The Phoenix Career Services portal will include a special military section with a military-to-civilian job skills translator, as well as military-specific career articles to help those leaving the Armed Forces meet their civilian career goals. It also will feature job listings from University of Phoenix partners who are seeking to hire members of the military, as well as access to specialized career coaching services.

While these new military-targeted tools won’t be available until next summer, students and alumni can enjoy the broad range of career resources that currently are available via Phoenix Career Services. Find them on eCampus at phoenix.edu/career-services.html
